Seeing that 'aha!' moment go across a student's face is one of the best feelings in the world. I grew up wanting to be a doctor and a lawyer, but after reading Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In, I was inspired to take a leap and lean in to teaching. Since making that leap, I have been overwhelmingly fulfilled witnessing those 'aha!' moments in classrooms in both America and China.
I've lived in China for the past seven years working at a private international school serving as both a teacher and vice head of the early childhood department. I acted on my dream of launching Scholared Works & Consulting because at the heart of my passion for education is my love for connecting with others.
